Art for well-being: Sol Calero at Biennale Arte di Venezia
At Cristalfarma, we firmly believe that art has the power to improve people's quality of life.
This is why we decided to support the installation by Venezuelan artist Sol Calero, first exhibited in April at the Venice Art Biennale and on view until November 24 in the Biennale Gardens.
Pabellón Criollo (this is the name of the work) is a typical Venezuelan dish made from waste ingredients and a symbol of the area's mix of indigenous, African and European cultures.
Just like the dish, the work was created from discarded or salvaged materials from previous editions of the event, giving new life to a mix of colors and materials in a work conceived as a pavilion among pavilions.
By supporting the work, we want not only to promote art and creativity, but also to contribute to people's well-being through the enjoyment of works of art that can enrich their lives.
