Mario Nigro: art for a better life
Art as a means of escape from the present and as a means of making people feel good.
The beneficial impact of art on people's mood and mental and physical well-being has been proven by several studies: art, whether when practiced or admired, has a strong impact on our brain, stimulating creativity and consequently brain functions.
For example, art can be a means of exploring one's emotions, including those related to mental health.
Just think of the use of painting as a support in many therapies, or how we feel when we enter a space that is particularly stimulating.
On July 13, 2023, the largest exhibition ever dedicated to Mario Nigro, an artist who has made his mark on the history of contemporary Italian art, opened in Milan.
The exhibition, curated by Antonella Soldaini and Elena Tettamanti, will be on view free of charge until September 17 at the Palazzo Reale and until November 5 at the Museo Del Novecento.
Our mission is to make people feel good: therefore, we decided to support the initiative because we strongly believe that art, in all its forms, contributes to improve the well-being of each of us.
